My Starfury 2000 convention experience

It all started with me and a friend going to England to the Starfury convention. We were told the guests were going Hudson Leick (Callisto), Ted Rami (Joxer) and Paris Jefferson (Athena).
But when we checked in we discovered 2 more guests would be attending Adrienne Wilkinson (Eve) and Timothy Omundson (Eli). Yipeeeee.

There was a party the first night for the first 150 registered guests but seeing as i wasn't one I couldn't go to that but there was a disco for everyone else. We were soooo pooped we didnt attend but we learned the next day Hudson snuck in!!

The next morning after breakfast we went back to our rooms and a guy in the hall asked us how were we and did we like last night. With a shock we realised this guy was Ted Rami, with a squeak we said we didnt go as we were tired, he said he was still suffering from jet-lag. He was so nice.

Photos

Hudson parting the night away with the guests.

This was a few contestents at the fancy dress party. The funniest one I have ever been to.

I finally got my pic taken with Her at the disco. I was so excited.

Hudson Leick being her charming self at one of the talks. Its hard to see but she is sticking out her tounge :)

Hudson with a hankie that she thought was never 'used'.

Ted and Tim relaxing at the disco but they still had time to talk and chat.

See they even had time to take pics with us.

Hudson was so lively at the disco she would dance with anyone! And would pose as well for pics.

You know I think the guest stars were even more laid back than the actual guests

This is Jill with Ted.

More people from the fancy dress. They came from every where even germany.

Ha got a pic with Adrienne. She was suffering from a cold, but bore herself up well in the talks (she wouldn't sing, but we understood).

The pics that were professionly taken which were developed and we got them autographed.

Ted was so nice. I got to talk to him for a minute while the photographer reloaded. He asked where I came from. Ireland I told him and I asked him was he enjoying himself? He replied yes.

All the people Doing Y.M.C.A. The last dance at the disco

I know hard to see but Ted dressed in a wig came on stage and pretended to be the real Hudson Leick. Insisted the the other was an imposter, that she always just got there first. ;)

You can sort of see. The audience wanted Ted Rami to Sing 'joxer the mighty', he claimed that he didnt have the word, and was horrifed to see they were on the back of a leaflet. So he made poeple get up and sing it with him.
